The Feroz Shah Kotla stadium is the cricket ground located near the Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Delhi. The Feroz Shah Kotla Ground was founded in the year 1883 and is one of the oldest international cricket stadiums that functions even today. It is the second oldest ground after the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The ground is just close to the Ambedkar Stadium which has the seating capacity of around 20,000 people and represents the football club New Delhi Heroes FC.
Even in the 21st century, the stadium is known for its vibrant atmosphere that makes it the best cricket grounds in the country. The huge support of the people towards the Indian team has made them won many matches. Team India has never been defeated here since 20 years.
